Cancer Sucks! Your Sex Life Doesn’t Have To
Sunday, October 21, 2012 from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM (PDT)
Seattle, United States
Survive cancer with your sex life intact. Many people experience changes around their sexuality during and after cancer treatment. Chemotherapy and radiation can leave you feeling tired and irritable; you may be experiencing physical changes and loss of desire. We’ll share advice and suggestions to help you get you back to enjoying your sexuality again, whether you’re solo or with a partner.
10% of the sales this evening benefit Young Survival Coalition Seattle, an international organization dedicated to the unique issues of women under 40 with breast cancer.
Enjoy raffle prizes, refreshments, and discounts, too.

When & Where
Claire Cavanah and Rachel Venning opened the first Babeland store in 1993 in response to the lack of women-friendly sex shops in Seattle. The store offered top quality products, a pleasant place to shop, and most of all information and encouragement to women who wanted to explore their sexuality. The store's popularity with both women and men has led to three more stores in New York, plus a thriving and educational website.
We host workshops and events almost every week. Stop by for one of our Moms events, Art Walk nights, Babeland Brunch's or one of our many popular sex education classes.
